CEO of L&T Infotech, Sudip Banerjee quits
Bangalore: Sudip Banerjee, CEO of L&T Infotech, has quit in order to take a break and concentrate on his personal life. He quit Wipro in 2008 to join L&T Infotech as the CEO. L&T Infotech is a subsidiary of technology, engineering and manufacturing leader Larsen & Toubro. In L&T Infotech, Sudip Banerjee came in with ideas to build a greater connect between business and IT. Under his guidance, they had recorded impressive revenue growth and expanded its company's services portfolio across a number of industries. In Wipro, Sudip Banerjee took care of many functions like business development, operations, technology, infrastructure development and human resources. He joined Wipro in 1983 where he was the President of enterprise solutions at Wipro. Sudip Banerjee says that it was really tough for him to shuttle between his job in Mumbai and his family in Bangalore every week. He did that in the last three years and now decides to take a break to be with his family.
