BANGALORE: U.S.-based C-COR, a global provider of broadband transport products, software systems and technical services, will expand its development center in the city, which it established last year by acquiring Alopa Networks Inc. With new products in the offing, the Bangalore center was poised to undertake design and development of additional products as part of the C-COR Solutions, one of the company's three complementary business units, a company release here said today. Company Managing Director Vijaya Verma said ''the Bangalore center will focus on end-to-end product design, development and delivery activities for multiple C-COR Solutions products. Our expansion plans include moving to a new office in the next quarter to accommodate a significant increase in headcount by year-end.'' Its President Michael Pohl said ''we are planning multi-million dollar investment in the coming years towards the various product development and support activities in Bangalore.''
