MILWAUKEE: CCI, a leader in document and information management, and Samyog, a global systems integrator focused on building user-centric and robust business solutions, announced today an agreement to develop a suite of e-business services for business-to-business customers to better manage and distribute information. Robert D. Hegwood, founder and president of CCI, and Murali Iyer, founder and president of Samyog, issued the announcement at CCI's headquarters in Hartland, WI. Under the partnership, the two companies will develop new applications to integrate CCI's current e-business products, particularly its web-enabled document management software, Publication Zone(TM), into broader, integrated offerings and to extend and customize additional products for new markets. According to Hegwood, "CCI is very excited to enter into a partnership with Samyog. We see their skills in application development, information architecture, creative design, and engagement management as strongly complementing CCI's e-business strategy to offer our B2B customers value-added avenues to better manage and distribute information. We particularly look forward to the next generation version of our market leading software, Publication Zone." "We are really delighted with the opportunities the alliance brings to Samyog," Iyer said. "Our proven process, which has been developed through both the client/server and Internet application waves, has enabled us to align with the demands of the marketplace and leaders such as CCI. Our expertise in working with a broad range of leading-edge software products and our track record in building custom solutions or integrating third party tools will enable CCI to provide maximum value and return to its customer." CCI developed its first e-business product in the mid-nineties. It was the logistics of helping manufacturers reach multiple stakeholders around the globe that prompted CCI to create a document system around legacy information to manage ordering, inventory, order tracking, shipping and distribution. The Internet propelled CCI to expand its cornerstone product into Publication Zone. CCI'S suite of software has expanded to include a custom book publishing tool for major book publishers that includes royalty tracking and an information distribution tool that sorts, delivers, and cascades information to a company's stakeholders across divisions and continents. Commercial Communications, Inc. (CCI), headquartered in Hartland, WI, specializes in integrating printing, fulfillment and distribution through traditional printing methods, including digital, web and offset technologies and a suite of e-business software. The company is one of the largest electronic print and digital information providers in North America and a pioneer in on-line document ordering, viewing, tracking and management with its software Publication Zone. CCI primarily serves global Fortune manufacturers and the publishing, insurance and education markets. The 20-year old, privately held company, with 250 employees, supports its customers through sales and production offices in Hartland, Phoenix and Chicago. Samyog, headquartered in Brookfield, WI, is a global web-based integrator noted for its innovative teamwork. Founded in 1995, with offices in Bangalore, India and the United States, Samyog is uniquely positioned to provide maximum value to its clients by designing and delivering custom-built or third party integrated Internet solutions, including Intranets, Extranets, B2B e-business, B2C e-commerce, supply chain management and logistics tools.
