Business on Austrian president's India visit

NEW DELHI:Austrian President Heinz Fischer will arrive on Wednesday for a six-day visit, marking the first official visit to India by a head of the European nation. He will go Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mysore and Mumbai over the next six days. A high-level business delegation, including economic affairs and labor minister, governors of Tyrol and Salzburg, 100 business leaders and scientific and media representatives, are accompanying the Austrian president. Fischer will also hold delegation level talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and meet some members of the cabinet and opposition leader L.K. Advani. Austrian President and his delegation are also scheduled to take part in a business forum meeting being co-organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Confederation of Indian Industry here Thursday.
