BroadVision partners with Pramati Tech

HYDERABAD: Enterprise portal applications provider, BroadVision has announced a partnership agreement with Pramati Technologies, a provider of J2EE compliant application servers. Under this, BroadVision’s content management portal and commerce server would become available on Pramati Server. The agreement is designed to enable BroadVision to establish market leadership in the Asian market, where Pramati Server is very popular. BroadVision customers can now get a Pramati application server at affordable prices, according to a Pramati press release issued on Monday. BroadVision’s Country Manager (India) Sanjay Kukreja said, “We are very keen to align with Pramati to effectively address the regional market. Together we can provide a 30% reduction in the total cost of ownership for our customers, while delivering superior customer support along with strong local presence of Pramati.” The two companies are launching a special scheme that provides BroadVision Enterprise Portal, integrated Pramati Server and implementation services to become available through their wide network of partners. Pramati’s Vice President (sales), Sathya Narayanan said, “The need in the market is for world-class portal solution with integrated application server at an affordable price.”
