Bose Corp. launches operations in Chennai

NEW DELHI: Global audio technology company Bose Corporation Wednesday launched its operations in Chennai as part of its India expansion plans. The Chennai outlet will showcase the entire range of Bose products in the lifestyle range, wave systems, speaker systems, and multimedia offerings, said a press statement here. Bose now has six stores in India. "Bose has always been at the forefront of offering the very best in the audio technology that the world has to offer," said Bose Corporation general manager Ratish Pandey. "We are delighted to bring the same Bose experience to the music lovers of the city," he added. US-based Bose Corporation is a privately held company with over 7,000 employees, 18 subsidiaries, eight manufacturing facilities and annual sales of over $1.6 billion. The company forayed into India in 1995 by setting up a subsidiary.
