HYDERABAD: City-based IT consulting and product development company BodhTree has signed an agreement with two newspapers in Oman -- Times of Oman and Al Shabiba -- for e-paper publishing solution to enable them to publish their print edition over the internet. BodhTree will get licensing fees from the two dailies in return for use of its technology, a company release said here. The deal was signed at the Dubai Gitex 2004 Expo by Essa Bin Mohammed Al Zadjall, chairman of the Muscat Press and Publishing House and Sanjiv Gupta, CEO of BodhTree Consulting. "We chose BodhTree's solution because of its technological intelligence, easy scalability and ready-to-deploy capability that supported our e-publishing business objectives well", Ahmed Essa Al-Zadjall, CEO, Times of Oman, was quoted as saying. The Times of Oman and Al Shabiba are the oldest newspapers in the Sultanate.
