New Delhi: Leading private mobile service operator Bharti Airtel announced the slashing of its international call tariffs by up to 11 percent. The reduced rates will be effective from April 1, the company said in a statement. As per the new tariffs, calls to US, Canada, Europe (fixed line), Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand will cost 6.40 a minute compared to the current rate of 7.20. Calling Gulf, Europe (mobile), SAARC countries and Africa will be 9.20 a minute compared to 9.99 at present, the statement said.
