Bhandarkar joins Induslogic's Board

BANGALORE: Induslogic Inc.a leader in software product engineering outsourcing today announced that Vasudev Bhandarkar has joined the company's board of directors. Bhandarkar will contribute to the company's growth plans from a strategy, financing and M&A perspective. "Vasudev's insight into services businesses with an in-depth understanding of outsourcing will be a great asset to Induslogic. We are confident that his business skills combined with technology expertise will help in establishing a key link between our customers and our technologists,” said Peter Harrison, Chief Executive Officer, Induslogic. Bhandarkar said, "I'm delighted to join the Induslogic board. I believe that Induslogic provides best-of-breed services in the product engineering outsourcing market. Induslogic's focus on execution and strong emphasis on quality has propelled Induslogic as a leader in this space. A seasoned executive from the software industry, Bhandarkar brings to Induslogic 25 years of experience in the industry. He is currently managing director of Qbera Ventures, LLC and prior to joining Induslogic, he was the Chairman and CEO of Unimobile, a wireless platform software company. He was a co-founder and VP of marketing and business development at Selectica, where he was instrumental in shaping the company's enterprise software strategy and winning the early software deals in major vertical markets. He has also held senior technology and executive positions at Bell Laboratories, Digital Equipment Corporation, Apple Computer and Remedy Corporation. Bhandarkar holds Master's degrees in Computer Science from Colorado State University and a Master's Degree in Physics from IIT-Bombay. He has also completed graduate education towards an MBA at Santa Clara University and executive education at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
