Walking up and down steep hills and repeated flexing can worsen the situation. You can avoid this issue by reducing your walking distance and alternating non-weight bearing activities like swimming or abs training. While you walk try to stick to a flat surface so that your legs will be in a neutral position and it won't hurt you much. Feeling Tenderness on your heel or bottom of foot: Any abrupt change or increased normal walking regime can cause inflammation. People with high curves are mainly at risk. Stiffness in the bottom of your foot is the first sign of this problem. As soon as you notice this problem you have to start with your own treatment which includes sitting with ankle of injured foot across opposite thigh. You can also wear supportive shoes and sandals with countered foot bed to avoid this problem. Pain Between toes and Ball of your foot: It happens mainly because of the thickening of nerve near the toes. It will cause an unpredictable numbness, pain or tingling, this condition is known as Morton's neuroma. The symptoms are most common in women than men. You can get the treatment done by wearing roomier shoes or going for a surgery. And also, ladies should limit wearing high heels and pointed ones.
