Asian Cup Match in Dhaka
After losing to India at the World cup semifinals Pakistan had geared up to prove their sportsmanship at the Asian Cup match played in Dhaka. Even with the tough game Pakistan couldn’t shake India’s winning fate. The game started with Pakistan winning the toss and choosing to bat. Pakistan set a high target of 329 for 6 wickets, including the twin centuries set by Nasir Jamshed scoring 112 and Mohammad Hafeez bating 105.
India was undeterred even with a fumble start with losing Gautam Gambhir early in the match. Virat Kohli saved the day by scoring 183 for 148 balls. India won by 6 wickets with 13 balls remaining.

Sachin at Centurion Park South Africa
India’s match with Pakistan in the 2003 World Cup at Centurion Park South Africa was another tussle that India won by 6 wickets. Australia won the Cup, but it was Sachin Tendulkar who received the man of the series and also the most run scored title.
In the match between India and Pakistan India chased the 273 total score set by Pakistan. Facing the furious balling of Shoaib Akthar and the combined efforts of the Pakistan team India still managed a win. Sachin Tendulkar was all set to tackle the tough bowlers, bringing out his upper cut hitting huge sixes in the match, leading India to victory, along with Yuvraj Singh and Rahul Dravid. This was the fourth consecutive win for India over Pakistan on the World Cup series.
