Battery Ventures promotes Sunil Dhaliwal

SAN MATEO, CA: Battery Ventures has promoted Sunil Dhaliwal principal to partner. Dhaliwal joined Battery's Wellesley, Mass. office in 1998. He focuses on investments in information technology infrastructure and tech-enabled services.
Prior to joining Battery, he worked for Alex Brown & Sons Inc., where he executed equity financings, and mergers and acquisitions in the communications and software industries.
Dhaliwal also serves on the board of Netezza Corp. and acts as a board observer at CipherTrust Inc. He has also held board seats at Storability Inc. and @stake Inc.
Battery is investing out of Battery Ventures VII, a $450 million fund raised at the end of 2004.
