DHAKA: Talks on a free trade agreement (FTA) between Bangladesh and India will take place next month. The discussions will be held from October 20-22, a commerce ministry source said. The FTA is expected to boost trade and reduce the huge trade gap of over $1.2 billion that is in favour of India. Pakistan and Sri Lanka have also been contacted for similar talks, the source said.
