BOI to introduce portable ATM
Bangalore: The Bank of India is likely to introduce biometric portable ATMs in Karnataka to increase banking transactions among villagers and illiterates. At present, the bank has five branches in Mysore district with a business of 345.49 crore. R Sampath, DGM and Zonal Manager, BOI said, "The bank's plans for Mysore district includes financing of industries, processing units and SME units. It is presently engaged in financing agriculture and NGOS."
