Bangalore: S. Prakash the BJP media in charge who submitted the memorandum said Bangalore has been on terrorist threat and anti national elements. The Google street views can be misused by these anti national elements by accessing them to plot bombs and terror in the city. The government doesn't want the Google to proceed with this project. Mapping of the city may pose security threat and the Bangalore city has been in the hit list of the terrorist targets. It is a city of IT/BT industry and has establishments of HAL, NAL and ISRO so the Google street views can give a chance of information misuse to the enemies. The police have already stopped Google from capturing images around the streets of Bangalore the cars have been stopped also the high resolution cameras mounted on top which collects the images of the city. The police have also revealed that Google have no clearance from the home and defence ministries to get the pictures of strategic buildings and public places. Google says it would resolve the matter about the street view technology, how it works and why it has been controversial. The street view gives 360 degree imagery and by moving the Pegman symbol wherever needed and by zooming into the spot gives a clear picture of the location. The road where street view imagery is available appears blue in color. This street view can be a luxury for the terrorist which can only spell disaster. The Google street view has been banned in Germany, Australia, Greece and many other countries.
