New Delhi: After eight successive cuts in aviation turbine fuel (ATF) price since last September, state-run oil companies Thursday raised it by at least 1,040 per kilolitre, a rise of 3.4 percent. The new price will come into effect from midnight Thursday. Aviation fuel will cost 31,496.31 per kilolitre in Delhi, an increase of 1,040.10, an Indian Oil Corp (IOC) official said. In Mumbai, it will cost 32,447.65 per kilolitre, an increase of 1,068.87. Oil companies had last cut the ATF price by 2,234 Jan 1. The ATF price touched 71,028.26 per kilolitre in Delhi last August. However, with international oil prices falling since July, fuel prices started being slashed in September.
