Asus unveils F83S laptop in India
Bangalore: Asus has launched 14 inch Asus F83S laptop in India. It is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processor and has ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4500 graphics for HD experience. This graphic card provides 512MB video memory which gives high performance gaming experience. "The F83S is one of our performance notebooks, which we are most pleased to release in India. This notebook performs to the hilt and also offers a sense of style with its smooth and polished exterior. Observing the need for high performing notebooks amongst the Indian consumers, we're sure that a product offering such as the Asus F83S will be a force to reckon with in the Indian notebook scenario," said Stanley Wu, Country Manager for Notebook business, Asus India. Asus F83S has 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 CPU, 4GB DDR2 800MHz RAM and 500GB HDD 5400RPM for storage in the laptop. Its 14 inch LCD displays a pixel resolution of 1366x768 and 16:9 aspect ratio. Asus also claims that it has a spill proof keyboard that will protect the internal circuit if anything spills on it. Other features of the F83S laptop include 8x DVD Super Multi drive, built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam, integrated WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet, three USB 2.0 port, ExpressCard Slot, and HDMI out port. Asus has included Asus smart log on pass-key to use the laptop. Asus' Express Gate allows quick access to the most common and frequently used applications. To provide good quality sound, Asus F83S is compatible with Creative SoundBlaster Pro, and has built-in Azalia compliant audio chip. Asus F83S offers a two-year limited global warranty and one-year battery warranty. It is available for 60,340 in India.
