Asus unveils DirectCU II Graphics Cards in India

Bangalore: Asus has introduced a new range of Nvidia and AMD graphics cards. The new range has incorporated DirectCU II advance cooling technology. The DirectCU II technology uses a custom cooler with two 80mm or 100mm fans for 600 percent increase in the airflow of both Nvidia and AMD based graphic cards. With this technology, the graphic cards will use 100 percent copper pipes. The new technology is promising to enhance the GPU performance. These graphic cards have power components which are manufactured using Super Alloy Power technology. The Super Alloy Technology use a unique formula in power components like chokes, capacitors, POSCAPs and MOSFETs. Because of this technology, the performance of graphic cards boosts by 15 percent. It also decreases the operational temperature 35 degrees and increases the life span by 2.5 times. The Direct CU II cards also have Voltage Tweak that can enhance the clock speed by 50 percent faster. The cost of Nvidia graphic cards ranges from 16,000 to 37, 000 whereas the cost of AMD based graphic cards ranges from 21,000 to 27,000.
