REDWOOD CITY: Informatica Corporation (Nasdaq: INFA) Tuesday announced an OEM alliance with Aspen Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: AZPN). Under the terms of the alliance, AspenTech will embed Informatica's PowerCenter and PowerConnect software into its new Performance Management enterprise solution for manufacturing and supply chain operations. "Our partnership with AspenTech can help customers in the process industries achieve real-time, 360-degree analytic views that are critical to enhancing the performance of today's extended supply chains," said Sanjay Poonen, vice president of worldwide marketing at Informatica. "Pairing the leading solutions from AspenTech and Informatica can deliver a powerful analytics solution for global manufacturing networks." AspenTech's Performance Management solution, based on Informatica's products, will be available in the spring of 2003.
