Ashok Waran is SupportSoft's India VP

NEW YORK:SupportSoft, Inc., has appointed Ashok Waran as vice president of engineering and services for SupportSoft India. SupportSoft is a Silicon Valley-based provider of Real-Time Service Management (RTSM) software and Waran will be responsible for all product development, professional services delivery, quality assurance and customer support activities in India, a company release said. Waran has put in 22 years experience and has worked with companies like Oracle India and HP. He is a electronics and communications engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. "Ashok is a highly-respected executive within India's software industry," Cadir Lee, SupportSoft's vice president of engineering, said.
