Are Americans Workaholics?
Bangalore: Have you ever guessed which country’s employees work more? Well, the answer is the United States. This is not so surprising because the Americans are considered as some of the productive people in the world. In a recent information provided by the "Business Insurance quotes" on ‘Workaholism’ in the United States has mentioned that the Americans work up to 1,778 hours per year. Around 10 million Americans work more than 60 hours a week. But this can also be increased in the future because the Americans can think of competing with Mexico, as this country’s employees are working more hours annually when compared with the United States employees with 1,866 hours on a yearly basis.
According to a report by YouTern Alpha Website, Bryce Christiansen, the Marketing Coordinator for the Balanced WorkLife Company is of the opinion that even though the list includes countries like Brazil, Russia, India, China, the Americans would have overtaken them as well.

In India a rikshaw-puller works 12-14 hours without a leave. Even in offices, security guards are generally on extended duty. We always hear stories of how police and army personals are over-worked.
I wonder Japan, notoriously famous for workaholism, is not in the list.
I have just one question to ask. If they are so workaholic Can they work constant 3 days with just food and small nap brake, making it 60 hours per 3 day?
