Aptech's profit shoots up 336 percent

NEW DELHI: Aptech, a global learning solution company registered a 336 percent jump representing a net profit (PAT) of $68 million from $15.6 million in the previous year. The company records a rise in net revenue by 40 percent to $509.4 million, from $363.6 million for the first quarter ended March 31, 2007. Its global system wide booking of $3413.8 jumped to 103 percent, from $1679.8 million in the period. The company captured 32.10 percent market share (IDC Report) of the IT Training & Education Market. It also retained the highest market share for fifth consecutive year. The company?s domestic retail business increased by 65 percent while the international business grew by 122 percent. Commenting on Aptech?s performance, Pramod Khera, CEO & MD ?
