Mumbai: Learning solutions major Aptech announced Wednesday the launch of an N-Power training centre here. Announcing the launch, Aptech CEO and managing director Pramod Khera said the company will open 50 such centres across India by Dec 2007 and would take the brand overseas by Jan 2008. The centres would address training needs of a projected two million networking and hardware professionals. Aptech has tied up with Computing Technology Industry Association (ComTIA) to offer ComTIA suite of courses at its N-Power centres. CompTIA has more than 22,000 member companies in over 100 countries around the world. "Opportunities in hardware and networking are emerging now with IT being the buzzword for all industries. Realising this potential, we have decided to set up the N-Power brand with centres across the country and abroad," Khera said. "Our alliance with a prestigious association like ComTIA will definitely add value to our offering, which has been created with inputs from the industry," he added. "It is a pleasure to be associated with a global leader like Aptech. Aptech has been providing quality IT training internationally and its foray into the hardware and networking certified training is bound to contribute to the industry in a big way," said John A. Venator, president and CEO of ComTIA, who was present at the launch.
