Aptech, CSI tie up to promote IT

MUMBAI: Aptech Limited, a global IT training major, and Computer Society of India, the largest association of IT professionals in India, have forged an alliance to promote the field of IT and IT literacy through the year 2003-04. Pramod Khera, CEO & managing director, Aptech, said, “Aptech will sponsor and promote various CSI programs such as Mass Literacy Drives throughout the country, student activities, Young IT Professional awards, Man Power Surveys on the IT industry, usage, requirement of IT professionals to offer direction to the IT industry, publish journals, reports, and newsletters, conduct student seminars throughout the country.” A. K. Pathak, president, CSI said, “CSI is the largest association of IT professionals in India and is delighted to enter into alliance with leading IT training organization, Aptech. CSI has promoted ‘IT for masses program’ recently to promote IT in India. We hope to reach to a wide expanse of populace across boundaries and age groups through a slew of activities that will be conducted through the year, under this agreement between the two organizations.”
