Aptech-Vietnam wins best IT trainer award

Kolkata: Aptech-Vietnam has been conferred the ICT (information and communication technology) gold medal for the highest turnover in training category and top ICT training cup for the fifth consecutive year by the Ho Chi Minh Computer Association (HCA).
Aptech, the global learning solutions company based in India, has trained 30,057 students in Vietnam from 1999 to 2006 through its 31 centres under the brands Aptech Computer Education (Software Engineering) and ARENA (Multimedia Training), the company said here Wednesday.
Pramod Khera, CEO and Managing Director, Aptech, said: "This award is an appreciation of our effort to provide Quality IT training in Vietnam."
"We have always endeavoured to impart the best of industry-relevant training to students across the globe and feel proud to see graduates from Aptech engaged by top IT companies in Vietnam," he said.
Aptech is the No.1 IT and multimedia training institute in Vietnam, with the largest market share.
ARENA is currently present in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, whereas Aptech Computer Education has centres in major cities in southern and northern parts of Vietnam like Cantho, Camau, Quy Nhon, Vin City, Hue, Danang, Hai Phong besides Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Aptech's curriculum is translated into Vietnamese to reach wider audiences.
The existing IT (Aptech Computer Education) and Multimedia Education (ARENA) business of Aptech Ltd in Vietnam recorded a system-wide revenue of $6 million in 2006.
Aptech plans to open another 20 new IT and multimedia training centres in Vietnam by 2008 and expects the total revenue of education business in Vietnam for the three-year period (2007-2009) to be over $30 million.
