PORTSMOUTH: Aprisma Management Technologies Inc., a Gores Technology Group Company, Tuesday announced that the company is a member of the Juniper Networks OSS Alliance Program as a "Preferred Partner". Aprisma and the SPECTRUM solution set have been qualified by Juniper Networks (Nasdaq:JNPR) based on the solutions offered to the companies' joint customer base. The Juniper OSS Alliance Program augments the policy and control layer of the recently announced Model for Integrated Network Transformation (MINT) and provides comprehensive, best-in-class solutions for service providers powered by partnerships with leading OSS vendors worldwide. "We selected Aprisma to be a member of our OSS Alliance Program because of SPECTRUM's proven technology, standards-based interoperability, and demonstrated market leadership," said Hema Ganapathy, senior portfolio marketing manager, Juniper Networks. "Our joint customers are able to maximize service velocity, gain operational efficiencies, and minimize training time, while leveraging existing skill sets and management investments using SPECTRUM's root cause analysis." Aprisma's SPECTRUM Assurance Server communicates directly with the Juniper routing and broadband service creation platforms to predict, prevent, and pinpoint availability and performance problems in the networked infrastructure. Aprisma has worked closely with Juniper to develop management applications for Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) environments. SPECTRUM also features standards-based OSS integration gateways that automate provisioning and fulfillment system data modeling, integrate with other external element managers and event streams; and intelligently interface with TL1-based carrier-class infrastructure. The joint solution delivers real- time, proactive monitoring; intelligent subscriber impact; root cause analysis; and accelerates service restoration through automated notification and suggested corrective actions. This gives service providers the confidence and granular visibility to make stronger service level guarantees to their subscribers -- ensuring service quality expectations are exceeded and subscriber retention rates are rock-solid. The program creates superior value for Juniper Networks customers, who benefit from improved integration and coordinated product delivery cycles. "Aprisma is proud to have been selected by Juniper Networks as a Preferred OSS Alliance Program member," said Mike Fabiaschi, President and CEO of Aprisma Management Technologies. "This partnership will help our joint service provider customers accelerate the deployment of new services, reduce operating expenses, and ensure their staff is more proactive and responsive to their subscribers."
