Bangalore: As the world readies for the new iPhone 4, the updated operating system, iOS 4, is what lends the latest iPhone any value. This latest software lets the user enjoy some new features and is compatible with iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 3G. The prime features that the software comes with are multitasking, home screen folders, email in box, iBooks among many others. In iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, you can run third party apps and also switch between them instantly. You can also get a unified email in box, support for multiple exchange accounts and the option for viewing emails by thread. The software also allows you to share books between iPhone and iPad. The feature of Game Centre is scheduled to release later in the year and will give options like social gaming network, the ability to invite friends to games, and the opportunity for setting up two people to play. Apple has maintained its enterprise support this time around too. Additional changes include spell checking, gift apps, wireless keyboard support, persistent Wi-Fi. The software is available free for all the hardware that can run it. Although there is always scope for improvement, the iOS 4 has convincing grounds for users to upgrade to it.
