Apple to Launch 4-inch iPhone 5 and Thicker iPad 3in 2012

Bangalore: The technology giant, Apple would roll out its much-awaited iPhone 5 with a four-inch screen and would introduce a slightly thicker iPad with a higher resolution screen next year. Apple's new iPhone would feature a significant redesign of its smartphone to prop up the 4G Long Term Evolution services, which would necessitate an extra battery life, iLounge technology blog report claims. The new designed iPhone 5 is said to accommodate its larger screen in a metal case of around 8 mm longer than the current model with a teardrop design, thicker at the top and pointed to the bottom. The metal case probably will be aluminum. "The iPhone 5 is on track to be introduced in summer of 2012, and is still in the engineering phase, not early production," said iLounge. "We suspect that poor battery life doomed the prior prototype version, and that this one is being built with LTE-ready battery drain in mind." Along with iPhone5 release in 2012, iPad 3 also hot listed to hit the market in 2012. iPad 3 will be thicker than its preceding model and it will embrace with a twin light bar system. The new display resolution in iPad 3 demands a better back-lighting than its previous model. Its previous model has a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and the new iPad 3 will reportedly come up with a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution screen. MacBook Pro is also on the way to its refreshed launch of a slim-lined profile with the axe of the optical drive, reveals the blog.
