AppLabs, InnaPhase tie up on lab info solutions

HYDERABAD: AppLabs and US-based InnaPhase Corp, provider of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) technology solutions to the life sciences industry, entered into a tech solution distribution pact, where the former gets the right to sell and distribute lab-information technology solutions to the life sciences industry in India.
The alliance would allow AppLabs to sell and distribute the Watson LIMS product to the pharmaceutical, biotech and bulk drug organizations in India.
AppLabs has its offshore development center based in Hyderabad and the marketing of these products would be taken care by the Hyderabad center.
"AppLabs has a proven track record of delivering high quality, cost-effective solutions to the healthcare and life sciences markets," said Jo Webber, CEO of InnaPhase Corporation. "We are confident that this partnership will benefit both organizations as well as provide Indian life sciences organizations with best-in-class technologies that will enhance their bioanalytical research needs," he added.

By leveraging its offshore development center based in Hyderabad, India, AppLabs is able to provide cost-effective IT services in software testing and development. AppLabs is ISO 9001 certified and is currently implementing process improvements to become CMM Level 5 compliant.
