Android 3.1 comes to Motorola Xoom

Bangalore: Motorala users can avail the Andriod 3.1 update from today. This update activates the SD card slot, which will help the users to expand the memory of their Motorola Xoom up to 64 GB, along with 32GB SD card. This update allows better multi-tasking. It provides instant visual access to a large number of applications and resizable home screen widgets for Gmail, Calendar and Browser. The application tool is expandable. It also includes smoother transitions, color, text and positioning control, and control over touch and hold intervals. The tablets are provided with both keyboard and mouse support, which includes input for devices over Bluetooth. It also brings support for most PC joysticks and gamepads that connect over USB or Bluetooth to Motorola Xoom. The lock setting feature in WiFi allows application to continue to access to internet to update, even when the screen is off. This means that you can continue to do things stream music or use voice services. While Xoom gets Andriod 3.1, the rival tablet maker Huawei will soon come up with a 7inch tablet that comes with Andriod 3.2.
