Ajay Kumar to head HSS - U.S operations
NEW DELHI: Hughes Software Systems (HSS), a communication software company, today announced the appointment of Ajay Kumar Gupta as Vice President and General Manager for its U.S. operations. Gupta will be based in Maryland and will be responsible for HSS' marketing, sales and product development functions in the United States. Prior to his appointment, Gupta was responsible for the Network Management and OSS business group at HSS India. Speaking on his appointment, Arun Kumar, President and Managing Director, Hughes Software Systems said, "The appointment of Ajay is a significant step towards building the HSS brand in U.S. which is a primary market for us." Gupta holds a Masters Degree in Management and Industrial engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
