PARIS: After the successful launch of Chai Bazaar in London, the authentic Indian tea has made inroads into high profile Hotel Ritz in Paris. The tea campaign at Hotel Ritz is jointly launched by the Tea Board of India and Chor Bizarre Restaurant, London and New Delhi. For a month from Saturday, authentic range of distinctive Indian teas will be on offer at the Hotel Ritz along with a selection of traditional Indian delicacies specially chosen to complement the tones and flavours of the teas. Though Hotel Ritz Paris has a long-standing tradition of an afternoon tea, it is the first time that an all exclusive Indian tea menu shall be star attraction at the hotel, according to a news agency. From Darjeeling comes the light and delicate amber coloured stuff with its unique 'Muscatel' flavour and exquisite bouquet that is appreciated world-wide. In addition, there will be Assam and Nilgiri teas -- the typical Indian tea with spices, served in earthen 'Kullars'. Chefs have been especially flown in from 'Chor Bizarre' in London and New Delhi to prepare exotic Indian delicacies to compliment the teas like samosas, pakoras, chicken kathi roll, masala channa and tandoori pepper naanwich, chicken tikkawich, aloo tikki and papri chaat. For those who prefer sweet, there is ladoo motichoor and jalebis.
