Ad tool for TV channels

CHENNAI: The Mumbai-based Mediaware Infotech, an information technology firm today launched the TMW software for automating TV channel operations here. Mediaware Infotech Pvt Ltd CEO Biswajit Das said TMW was the latest in the range of software for the media industry from the company. Other products, included software for advertising agencies, media agencies, corporate advertisers, publications, Internet and cinema agencies. TMW cut the tedium out of TV channel operations, making it easier, smoother and faster, he said. Some of the features, included a total commercial operations, content management (including commercials), program diary creation and ad booking. The bulk deal management module, included proposal generation, spot banking and bonus monitoring, Das said adding the traffic management module, included tape library. One of TMW's most unique features, he said, was its electronic document readiness. As a developer, Mediaware had designed XML for documents like release orders, sales invoices and estimates for television and various other media. Electronic documents could be digitally signed, encrypted and made tamper-proof and able to achieve the effect of diverse applications 'talking' to each other without any breach of security. TMW had been selected by Sahara India Television Network and boasted of a clientele like FCB Ulka, Rediffusion and Star TV.
