1: I was just looking for this info for some time. After six hours of continuous Googleing, finally I got it in your web site. I wonder what's the Google's problem that doesn't rank this type of informative sites closer to the top. Normally the top web sites are full of garbage.

2: Ofcourse Dr.APJ Abdul kalam and Ratan Tata are the gretest personalities and thier contribution to the nation is remarkable.But india is a great country with so many people contributed from different walks of life & shaped our nation.It is the collective efforts of all of them ie,from aggriculture to the science and technology,from literature to entertaintment and sports etc.

But i would say the most trusted man would be "Mahatma Gandhi".We should not forget him.He is the only accepted indian all over the world.As an indian we dont need more explanation why it is mahatma gandhi.

8: It is unfortunate that politicians are so much selfish and non patriotic that they avoided to make him the President of India again. Nobody was better than him who is still inspiring people to love science and to love their country, he do not need any certificate to prove himself. CEOs, who took pride in show offs, huge salaries and perks are their mission, company becomes second and own country nowhere, should also learn that a poor hairstyle may no affect performance once a person starts his work!

When AIG staggered it was TATA to buy out and own the 76%. Moreover Tataji is the apex of all honest businesses that lead to indigenously generated wealth proliferation. Sourly enough, what good does a scientist-turned-politician do save bringing the country under the threat of war, nuclear, chemical and biotech-weapon proliferation?Questionable people must never be allowed to build a terrorist-team in India whatever caste, creed or religion he or she belongs to for the good of mother India. Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is all time sports hero.
Rata tata has now firmly planted in his mark in our hearts with the Tata Nano which showed we can do ..with Landrover and jaguar he has shown the path for Indian companies to follow
Well Gandhi is alwys there as he is the freedom fighter and nations father.
well one name missing is Sri Anand Mahindra simply becuase he is dashing ,dynamic and a very good strategy based risk taker with the acquistion of satyam

91: It's well known fact that APJ is one of the most respected human being in India among the likes of Mahatma Gandhi etc. Mr.Tata is truly an inspirational Indian beyond just being an Industrialist.
I do not know if anyone noticed, these two Indians are singles. Obvious to say a man (most) is selfless in nature until a woman comes into his life.

I WAS A FAN OF DR. KALAM. BUT NO LONGER. YOU MAY ASK WHY.

HE WAS THE PRESIDENT OF INDIA AND DID NOTHING. WE APPRECIATE HIM FOR THE WORK HE DID OUTSIDE RASHRAPATI BHAVAN.

WITH THE TRUST AND SUPPORT HE HAD FROM THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, HE COULD HAVE PUT HIS FOOT DOWN ON ISSUES OF CORRUPTION, MALNUTRITION, BLACK MONEY IN SWISS BANK (MORE THAN 75 LAKH CRORES!), ETC ETC.

BUT HE DID NOTHING.

WE CAN TRUST TATA, BECUAUSE HE DOESN'T OWN TATA GROUP. HE DOES WHAT HE SAYS. ALL TATA GROUP WAS AGAISNT HIM WHEN HE WENT FOR INDICA. SAME THING WHEN HE SHIFTED NANO TO GUJARAT. HE STOOD BY HIS WORDS AND CAME OUT SUCCESSFUL.

93: Dr. Vini: I appreciate your point. But you must remember Dr. Kalam need not do anything to cut corruption, black money etc. And even if he wanted to do something, it's impossible for a single human being to take up this task in a short span of 5 years. But on the other hand, he placed India on a very high level in the international scene and he did plenty of things as a researcher, academician to show the world what a president can do to improve the quality, image of the country.

I think after Dr. Shankardayal Sharma, Dr. APJ is the only President who had foresight and wisdom. Look at our current lady president - a dummy puppet and has no voice and can't think of anything constructive for the country.

95: Well said about Mr. Kalam. He was the ONLY INDIAN working/doing research and we made him PRESIDENT so that he need not to do any further work! (Democracy or Demo Grazy!). If they have not made him President, he would have achieved more for the country. These politicians of our country will not work and will not let anyone work.

98: What is the fun conducting this kind of surveys and what are the assumptions taken during this survey. Does this means that others who are not part of this surveys distrustful. First of all trust is the perception which changes from person to person and attitude & beliefs of every individuals.

111:Rakesh you can't give a general statement that "Young minds admire APJ Kalam more than Ratan Tata". Both are equally admired personalities. I would say Ratan Tata is more admirable that APJ Kalam as he is man with his words. His empire of Tata group is more socially inclined & people interacting with the Tata group with assurity that they won't be cheated.
