AMD India bolsters Marketing Organization

BANGALORE: AMD Far East Limited (India) today announced the appointment of Mukund Ramaratnam as the Director of Marketing and Business Development. Ramaratnam will be relocating from AMD US Headquarters in Sunnyvale CA to Bangalore by January 2005. As part of the company's efforts to bolster its market presence in India, AMD also plans to strengthen its focus on Channel marketing with the appointment of Vineet Arya and Rohit Verma as Channel Marketing Managers. The new appointments will be located at AMD India's headquarters in Bangalore and will be effective immediately.
Expressing AMD's commitment to India region with these appointments, Ajay Marathe, Corporate Vice President and President, AMD India, said, "The new appointments are a reflection of our success in India. We will continue to expand our marketing initiatives and these appointments will energize our organization.
