AI for non-stop flights on Shanghai-India route

Beijing: Air India would introduce the latest B777-200LR aircraft on the busy Shanghai-India route from tomorrow to operate non-stop flights to Delhi and Mumbai in view of the growing traffic between India and China. In recognition of the growing importance of the China market which is witnessing increase in business travellers and tourists, Air India has decided to introduce the latest B777-200LR aircraft on the Shanghai-India route effective from November 9, an AI press release here said. Air India will now operate the non-stop direct services from Shanghai to Delhi, and onwards to Mumbai with B777-200LR aircraft, replacing the current A330 aircraft. Air India operates four times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The flight departs Shanghai at 2200 Hrs and arrives in Delhi at 0245 Hrs, and Mumbai at 0615 Hrs the next day.
