ADP expansion to spawn more 1000 jobs

Hyderabad: With 80,000 square feet expansion of the two facilities at Hyderabad and Pune, ADP Private, the Indian subsidiary of U.S. based Fortune 500 Company, Automatic Data Processing (ADP), plans to generate employment opportunities. The former is its Global Technology Center and while the latter along with being its R&D and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) also acts as the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (DR/BCP) center.
Presently, the two centers accommodate around 3000 people, which is likely to increase by around 1000 employees with the completion of the set plan. Senior vice-president, ADP, Steve Penrose said, "Our Indian team has helped us support our client base in North America, Europe and Asia. We will continue to leverage on India's large talent pool." The $8 billion ADP has 60,000 clients and its India-based subsidiary is worth about $130 million.
Automatic Data Processing (ADP), founded in 1949 by Henry Taub in Paterson, New Jersey as Automatic Payrolls, is a global provider of integrated computing, and business outsourcing solutions for auto, truck, motorcycle, marine and recreational vehicle dealers.
