A Word on 'Love' from India's Young Startup Heroes

While few men make Valentine’s Day a grand event there are a majority of them who would love to make it simple yet candid and romantic. Here is one entrepreneur from Chennai who takes a different stand. "I would smile every morning and night and remind her how special she is for me," says Suneil Chawla, Co-founder, Koolkart.com, one of the emerging online shopping portal for apparel, jewellery, accessories and home design products in India.

With great innovations targeting Indian customers in the mobile sector, GupShup, a leading messenger re-launched its app yesterday with great emoticons for Valentine’s Day. With these emoticons, users are encouraged to send lovable smileys to their valentine. “I've created plenty of technology for others, but never for my Valentine. Until now. The new GupShup app, just launched in time for Valentine's, enables me to send custom and personalized emoticons,” says Beerud Sheth, Co-founder and CEO, GupShup.

When you talk to a travel startup entrepreneur regarding Valentine’s Day, you can expect something more lively and natural. “I would pack bags and take my wife for 1 year long world tour from Japan to America, with authentic experience of life and food across every country in the world,” says Alok Goel, CPO, redBus.in.
