Paul Allen and Mojave Aerospace/Stratolaunch Systems
Paul Allen, the co-founder of Microsoft founded Stratolaunch Systems, the space transportation venture in 2011. But even before that, in 2004, he built the first private manned spacecraft with his Mojave Aerospace Ventures. For this achievement, Mojave Aerospace won $10 million Ansari X Prize. Allen had spent $28 million for Mojave and he hasn’t revealed the amount for his new venture Statolaunch.
