Padmasree Warrior (Technology):

Chief Technology and Strategy Officer, Cisco Systems

She is the CTO of Cisco Systems and the former CTO of Motorola. Warrior joined Motorola in 1984. During Warrior’s tenure as CTO, Motorola was awarded the 2004 National Medal of Technology by the President of the United States, George W Bush. On December 2004, she had left Motorola to become CTO of Cisco. In 2005, The Economic Times ranked Warrior as the 11th Most Influential Global Indian. In 2002, she was one of six women nationwide selected to receive the “Women Elevating Science and Technology award from Working Women Magazine. In 2004, she was conferred with the Distinguished Alumni Award by Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. She has also served as the board of members of Chicago’s Joffrey Ballot, a dance company in Chicago, Illinois and Museum of Science and Industry. Warrior is ranked 58th in the list of 100 World’s Most Powerful Women.
