Parna Ghose

Parna Ghose happens to be the first Indian American fashion designer who got invitation to display her ethnic Indian collection at the Dubai Fashion Week (DFW), which is going to be held in the month of October. International models like Charlotte Lohmann and Samantha Harris will exhibit the wide varieties of attires ranging from lehengas and salwars to sarees.

Parna who designs under her label ‘Pure Elegance’ comes up with modern and traditional blend in her designs. ‘Pure Elegance’ was selected as the exclusive bridal-wear designer at My Wedding Lounge, which is the first all-inclusive wedding center for South-Asian couples in America.

Parna who entered her passionate field of designing few years ago has played a major role in promoting ethnic fashion at the global stage.

"My primary clientele is modern, successful South Asian women. They are constantly balancing between their external existences in professional life with their internal values at home, with families and in social environments," Ghose said in a statement, reports Jagran Post.

"My goal is to help them manage this disparity and strike a balance through style and fashion," she added.
