CEOs murder shakes UP's business opportunities

New Delhi: Followed by the CEO's murder of an Indo-Italian company at Noida and another U.S based CEO being thrashed, many companies are pondering over their long term plans, putting foreign and domestic investors in U.P. into a dangerous proportion. The state is a home for a great number of domestic and multinational companies like Honda Siel, Daewoo Motors, Denso, Escort Yamaha, HCL, Polar Industries, Priya Gold and Samsung India.
The inactive security system in the state can leverage the chances of the new investors to explore better and safer options. The negligence shown during the murder of the CEO, LK Chaudhry of Indo-Italian company Cerlikon Graziano Transmissions, has made almost all the industry CEO representatives maintain the view that the gray areas of the labor policies of both the central and state governments should be reviewed. There should be an element of hire and fire policy in the revised labor policy and laws should be enforced without disturbing the industry peace.

It was one of the most shocking and terrible news. On one side we are inviting
MNC/ giant companies to start their operation in our country on the other hand
some leaders/ Ministers have made mockery of our law by issuing unwanted
statements. This isolated case may not hamper our speed but certainly it will
spoil our image and nobody would like to take a Pang. This may be a setback to
our populous state.

I would hardly call these isolated events. The condition of India's overall mind
set is becoming increasingly violent in many areas. To say even one murder is
acceptable over job security, religion, or any other issue is rediculous. If the
citizens of India want to continue to develop in the global market they will
have to set asside their uncivilized, uneducated actions and persue a more
civilized approach to social issues. I agree with the article and with other
comments. India will see the effects of these actions in a backlash of financial
setbacks.

What happened to Graziano CEO was really terrible and big law-n-order, labor law
/ relationship (larger) issue that should be addressed by state / center in more
comprehensive manner. But do some recent skirmishes (again law-n-order issue)
between religious groups in Karnataka, etc. make it absolutely bad place for
investment. No! My point being that there are issues that need to be fixed with
UP but there are many industries running there business successfully. So
hopefully these isolated events should not take away the business opportunities
from UP.

Because of the stupid emotional actions of some idiots we are going to loose and
talk about unemployment existing in the society. we have to pay for our own
deeds.
