Mumbai techie behind Delhi blast
By

New Delhi: It has been a nauseatingly embarrassing fact that even well educated techies in the country are easily drawn into the net of 'Jehadi' influence. Investigations into the Delhi blasts on Saturday are bringing out the role of an Indian Mujahideen-SIMI cell led by Abdul Subhan, the techie jehadi from Mumbai, reports The Times of India.
The modus operandi - emails from Indian Mujahideen warning of or coinciding with blasts, use of ammonium nitrate and ball bearings pellets and other shrapnels in explosives, use of crowded markets so that higher casualties can be achieved even by low-intensity blasts - carries the signature of IM-SIMI.
Besides, the email from Indian Mujahideen, like the two previous ones, was sent from Mumbai. Subhan's base using an unsecured wi-fi connection of Ms Kamran Power Private Limited in Chembur, owned by A person named Kamat. Although the mail came from Mumbai, references to newspaper coverage in Delhi editions in the past few weeks suggests that the draftsman may have been in Delhi.
The police has been able to recover the chassis number of the auto rickshaw that was used for the blast in Ghaffar Market in Karol Bagh. According to latest reports, eight people have been detained and are being questioned. "We have some good clues," said a police spokesman.
Although Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi stated in Bangalore that he earlier this month told Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and National Security Advisor that there were plans to strike the Capital, intelligence sources were taken aback by the Indian Mujahideen's choice of Delhi.
They were suspecting Subhan and Qayamuddin, computer-graphic designer from Vadodara to strike in either Maharashtra or MP.
The probe is going to focus on the likely contacts of Subhan, Qayamuddin, and other absconding IM-SIMI activists - Abdul Bashar, Razeek, Afridi (all from Gujarat), Ikram, Inam and Musa (all from Madhya Pradesh).
Abdul Subhan who has evaded arrest after narrowly escaping a raid by Gujarat Police in Surat on SIMI hideout, has made no secret of his anger over the Ahmedabad crackdown. In the last email that he wrote intelligence sources suggest for Indian Mujahideen using the nom de guerre of Al arbi, Abdul Subhan tried to mislead the investigators by calling all the arrested innocent and Kenneth Haywood, the US national whose wi-fi he is suspected to have used to send the email warning of Ahmedabad blasts, an ally.

2: No country can secure each and every citizen
everytime. It is high time that our govt
should take some hard action against
terrorirst so that that they should scared
of doing such things. It is fact that
Congress is responsible for such problem in
my country(India). As they came in power
first they withdrew Pota and for thier dirty
politics and vote bank they are always
appeasing Muslims with thier justified or
unjustified demands. I m not saying that they
should support Hindu/Hinduism but they should
have dare to speak the Truth. Needless to say
that Hinduism is the best religion in the
World.
I m proud to be a Hindu.

5: This is a very sad news of human life.
I agree 100% on Muslims behind all terror activities.
Not all muslims are terrorist , but all terrorist are Muslim
They keep on getting multiple marriage and produce plenty of childrens. They dont register birth and death information so that even if they do sucide or perform terror activity, they cant be detected. Since they dont have work other than suside bomber or terror(preparing a local guns and bombs and blast bombs). They train from childhood to sucide and kill other people. They are not only lived in Pakistan but are available every places in india. The only worst community in the world is muslims(99%). They cant see economy development country, nation, they only think, eat and drink how to kill people, how to burn developed contry, how to beat other community. we hope another Sardar wallabhai patel/ Subhas chandra bose will born in India and attack muslims and make them run away from India and withdraw voting power to all muslims. Bloody congress government learn at least after that. (I promise I am not from any political party).
Jai hind!

6: And by the way I am a techie too. Tomorrow if
I meet somebody in a mosque, just like that.
And the person seems to me to be a nice human
being(we can't predict anybody by his face,
what organization he belongs too). I talk to
him on phone about some work, and the other
day he is involved in some blast. What will
happen? Police will investigate his calls,
and finds my number too... and see now
another techie will be a SIMI activist, a
terrorist. Reason... culprit of talking
generally to somebody, without doing his
background check. Do we do the background
check of everybody we talk to. Please ask
yourself. Even if he is not a muslim. But I
am a muslim, then wouldn't I be taken as part
of the heinous crime, I hated all my life.
Wouldn't all my love for my country be proven
fake in one second, without me doing
anything, or even without having a hint of
what happened. Please guys, just remember two
thing... what you see is not always true, and
all terrorists are not muslims. It's just
that calling the name of Allah and killing
people, seems to me, has become happening
thing today.

8: First of all thank you so much to the people
like Nitin Sawhney, must be a hindu by
religion, but to me a true Indian. Most of
important we want people like him in every
religion of our country. We are indians
first. And there should be no doubt in
anybody's mind ever about our patriotism.
Terrorists beware, you cannot kill all of us.
And for all the terrorists being muslims,
please everybody put hands on your heart and
ask yourself, can this be absolutely true.
How many cases in our country have we seen,
that an innocent is grilled for no reason.
How can we authentically say, that what the
govt. machinery is saying is absolutely true?
How when our so called great intelligence
system can't analyse when a terrorist attack
will occur, suddenly, within no time, tell
who are the suspects... SIMI, ISI,.. well.
Who comprises this SIMI? For God sake if
everybody is so sure that it's the main
culprit, them screw them up please, don't
talk about banning them. What do we mean by
ban? Does that stop anything. No, if what the
intelligence say is true. And also what about
the people spreading terrorism in Orissa and
Mangalore. Terrorist is not the one who
plants bombs. Every human being who creates
terror in life of people of any community in
my country is a terrorist. Please don't ban
any of these organizations. Please punish
them. The punishment that terrorises these
terrorists forever. We just don't want these
people. Please...

9: Yet again, Indian police have been caugh
wrong footed! The Indian security services
must be the only organisation in the world
with no intelligence gathering capability. I
understand there is something called the
Intelligence Bureau who monitor internal
security but apparently they are staffed with
low level officers whose literacy (let alone
IT skills) are extremely low.

10: WE AGREE THAT EVERY MUSLIM IS NOT A
TERRORIST, BUT WHY EVERY TERRORIST IS
MUSLIM.......NOW ITS SHAMEFUL THAT TECHIES
ARE INVOLVING IN THIS.......

11: unless there is a right way of moral
education provided to all, there would be
these kind of incidences,it is shame for
india being 2nd most populated country in
world and best in IT, the techies like these
are creating hectic terror in county.I think
the solution is just to follow Bigguns like
USA or Russia in Security and
aggressiveness. But there are lot of ways to
make country better by moral education from
childhood and developing patriotism towards
country.

12: God knows when these terrorists will stop the
killings in the name of God (Allah). These
people think by doing all these killings
they'll get a place in heaven (jannat), but
this is for sure that they will not get a
place in hell(dozak) either. God has given is
brain to think and take right decisions,
really its shame full that well educated guys
are lured into the so called "jehad". This is
my personal opinion that the terrorists don't
belong to any religion or community they are
just making money out of this. If they
belonged to any religion or community they
would have thought twice that when the bomb
will explode it will not ask from a person,
to which religion or community he belongs,
before hitting him. Terrorists are cowards
otherwise they would have not run after
placing the bombs or take cover by using
innocent people as their shield. Only thing
we can contribute to the nation is that we
should be more cautious and vigilant while
at public places. There is no harm raising an
alarm if something suspicious is noticed. I
am proud that nation comes together in
difficult times, be it Mumbai blast or now
Delhi, people have shown that they are not
afraid of such activities and life will go
on..

13: the first thing that every citizen of india
is to respect for our security guys, you just
look upon them as chowkidars or guards and
pay him or them less than for the diet of
your dog and you want all the stuff secured,
do you guys really know the salary of a
security guy in india .
apart from that the security guys should be equipped well not that you give him a lati and cycle to move around do the security job
respect security and then ask for internal security and eternal security
leave USA and european nations to do what ever they want with their citizens
you better look after yourself

14: Its a shamefull task to say that the internal
security is so poor. The citizens themselves
dont have respect on their motherland and to
the source of food & sheletr they are
availing. If we cant trace out such culprits
amongst us how we will trace out the one who
is sitting in a remote place and hacking our
financial status and the movement of the
supreme authority of government? can anybody
have the answer?

15: May souls of the Blast victims reside in
peace. No doubt, the Balsts have been
terrible yet Hats Off to the citizens of
India who have shown courage and did not
succumb under fear. But, the security system
must be ashamed of doing absolutely nothing
to prevent such deadly happenings. When India
supports security measures then what is it
that people are checked only after some
mishappening has already occurred? Even on
the Day of Independence this year, no
passenger was asked to get their luggage
checked at New Delhi Railway Station. WHY?
Did ever citizens of India refuse to be
checked? NO. If the security personnel are
appointed for the job, they are supposed to
work 365 days.SO why do they work only for
the few days which follow such heart breaking
incidents? A loss of one Daniel Pearl made US
attack Afghanistan. When will India Realize
the value of ONE citizen.....WHEN???
