Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia Airlines customers can now contact its call centres and get their queries answered in Tamil too, in addition to Malay, English and Mandarin.
The new service, already in force since last Friday, is in keeping with a promise made in April when Mandarin was introduced, said Bernard Francis, Malaysia Airlines' senior general manager (network and revenue management).
Malaysia has over two million Tamil Hindu settlers who arrived here during the British era.
The airlines also has several flights to Sri Lanka and Singapore that have Tamil populations, besides India.
