Indian designer Hirani at Sao Paulo Fashion Week
New Delhi: There is an Indian face in the prestigious Sao Paulo Fashion Week as designer Pradeep Hirani of the Kimaya fashion house has been invited to the event as a buyer.
Hirani, who has already left for the event, said in statement here: "Being invited to the Sao Paulo Fashion Week is a great opportunity towards creating a springboard for Brazilian designers to launch and extend their brands in India."
He is also seeking this as a platform to promote international fashion trends in India and also to bring the best international labels and upcoming global talent to the Indian market.
Hirani and his wife Neha, along with their merchandising and forecasting team, are looking forward to conducting some serious business in Sao Paulo Fashion Week that began June 17, the statement said.
