Qualcomm named among the Top 25 great places to work in India

Mumba: Qualcomm, a developer and innovator of advanced wireless technologies and data solutions, ranked 12th in the 'Best Workplaces 2008' study in India conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute and The Economic Times. Qualcomm India ranks number one from the telecommunications sector in the survey, which covered 200 participating companies and 36,000 employees.


Qualcomm owes this recognition to two key elements: its values and employees. "To be ranked at number 12.overall, and number one in the telecommunications sector, is a great honor for Qualcomm India," said Kanwalinder Singh, President of Qualcomm India and South Asia.

As a result of its unique initiatives that enable overall growth, development and success of its employees, Qualcomm ranked 21st in this same study in 2007, and has also earned a place among FORTUNE's list of '100 Best Companies to Work For in America' for ten consecutive years.
