Kingston's HyperX DDR3 Memory wins NVIDIA SLI certification

Mumbai: Kingston Technology Company, an independent player in memory products, has announced that its family of HyperX DDR3 memory modules have been SLI-certified by NVIDIA Corporation, as part of its program to offer gaming enthusiasts solid platform/memory compatibility and performance solutions when building high performance systems using the new series of NVIDIA nForce 790i SLI platforms.

Ann Bai, Product Manager, DRAM Memory, APAC Region, Kingston said, "Our new N Series HyperX DDR3 modules deliver the fastest performance possible with the new nForce 790i SLI series of motherboard partner solutions."

"Memory achieving NVIDIA SLI-Ready certification must pass a comprehensive suite of tests to ensure customers achieve the outstanding experience they expect from SLI systems," said Tom Petersen, Director of Technical Marketing for MCP Business Unit at NVIDIA. "Kingston's new HyperX modules soared through our battery of qualifications and exceeded NVIDIA requirements."

Kingston N Series HyperX memory delivers the fastest performance possible when paired with the latest NVIDIA MCP790i series chipsets. Memory DIMMs receiving SLI-Ready certification are required to support EPP technology to ensure that the modules can be automatically detected and their full potential realized with the NVIDIA nForce 790i Ultra SLI and nForce 790i SLI platforms.
