Washington: Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez is planning to launch a new reality TV show that will show viewers how she balances her duties as a pop star and actress with her responsibilities as a new mother, EFE news agency reported.
The artiste spoke about her upcoming projects during a surprise appearance at New York City's Lincoln Center for TLC's Discovery Networks programme.
She said in addition to the launch of her new perfume and filming of a new movie, she will also be appearing in a reality show that will show her different facets as an artiste, wife and mother.
Lopez gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl, Feb 22. Max and Emme are the fourth and fifth children of her husband, salsa star Marc Anthony.
The 38-year-old Lopez will finance and produce the reality show, which still does not have a launch date. The show will be aired on The Learning Channel.
TLC President Angela Shapiro-Mathes said she was excited about the project, saying it will "deliver a slice of (Lopez's) life that audiences have never seen before, as she takes on her career and launches a new fragrance while trying to juggle her new responsibilities as a first-time mom."
"Jennifer is unbelievably passionate about life and will be an incredible role model for our audience," Shapiro-Mathes said.
