Google's founding investor to speak at Headstart

e key members of organizing committee said, "Techies need not become a business planner or manager to move up in his career. He can also stay technical and create new things. The events like this will definitely going to ignite young minds around us."


"Also, Things are changing now. Even though Country lacks manufacturing skills, we are the still leaders in the soft skills. India still remains inexpensive. The notion of Indians lack entrepreneurial spirit is a thing of past. Now, India is being recognized as a huge market and there are lots of possibilities to explore in IT space. The confidence for investing in India is more than ever before. But, still between Indian Innovators, entrepreneurs and the industry still there is a gap. The events like Headstart will bring them to a common forum to get the things done," said Aditya Mishra, Entrepreneur-in-Residence at TCS, another key member of organizing committee.

Already, 80 plus technical papers (Innovations) were selected for the event to showcase across various domains such as Consumer Services, Mobility and Communications, Silicon and Embedded systems, Enterprises applications and Developments. A technical panel of five experts in each domain will review the papers. "The papers selected for the event will be published in the ACM digital Library world wide," informed, Murali Grandhi, Consulting Manager at IBM, and another key member of organizing committee.
Dr Umesh Dayal, HP Fellow, Director, Intelligenet Enterprise Technologies Lab, HP Labs, USA; Dr Pratap Pattnaik, Senior Manager, Scalable Systems group, the IBM Research Division, Dr Peter Hofstee, an IBM Distinguished Engineer will be other important persons who will be delivering keynote addresses in the event.
