Technopark enters into agreement with SIIB, China
Thiruvananthapuram: Technopark, India's biggest IT park, has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Shenyang Information Industry Bureau (SIIB) of China.
SIIB is based in Liaoning province of China and is responsible for growth and development of information industry in the capital city of Shenyang.
A press statement issued here Monday by Technopark said that the agreement has been signed with an objective to create a bond of friendship with China that needs to be nurtured and sustained over a period of time.
Technopark CEO N. Radhakrishnan Nair signed the agreement Sep 23, when he visited SIIB headquarters.
As the first step towards the friendship, Technopark will be host to a six-member Chinese delegation from Shenyang, scheduled to visit Technopark in November this year, the statement said.
The agreement encourages Shenyang-based IT companies to explore possibilities of locating themselves at Technopark here and Kochi-based Infopark, either as wholly owned foreign enterprises or as joint venture partners with Indian software companies.

Comment 1: I worked at a small company in Technopark during April and May 07. I still have their contract and as per contract, the company never paid me. I followed up with number of emails. The amount is quite considerable. They had issues with client and they even continued working with client, but never bothered to pay me. I doubt the ethics of the people there and the company.
